Training at Streetfighting Kung Fu Academy
We train one weekend per month:
Friday 6 - 10 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Students may elect to train for some or all of the hours we will hold class. Because of the amount of strenuous activity, we suggest that beginners train for a few hours, observe for a few, and then train when the body is rested. As you get stronger, then increase the amount of time you work out. This program is for serious students who have the discipline and desire to carve out a weekend a month to dedicate to properly learning this art.
Much of the first nine months will be spent developing stance training and footwork. During this time, you will learn our basic hand attacks and kicks. You will develop the hands and arms by using body weight exercises and striking various apparatuses for developing the fist. We will also spend a great deal of time stretching and developing your flexibility. Our goal is for students to be limber enough to perform the full split by the 12th month of training. The strength goal for students by the 12th month is to perform 50 pushups at one time. The goal for the legs is to be able to perform our Stance Training Form 10 times back to back.
If these goals sound impossible, you are about to discover the potential the human body is capable of unlocking. Join us and find out what Traditional Kung Fu Training can do for you!
